I am a Computer Science PhD candidate at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, focused on digital identity, self-sovereign identity, and decentralized trust frameworks. My work explores how to make identity systems technically robust, privacy-preserving, and socially trustworthy.
Research
Current research themes:
- Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) and Verifiable Credentials.
- Trust over IP (ToIP), trust registries, and governance frameworks.
- Scalability and interoperability of digital identity infrastructure.

I was a Teaching Assistant for Human–Computer Interaction at Instituto Superior Técnico in the second semester of 2024/25.
